Ok ok, I can explain. Yes, my last post was like 10 months ago, and yes I have been neglecting the blogosphere lately, but times are a changing my friends. It's my last quarter at UCLA (omg thank goodness!), I'll be going to FIDM in LA starting January for a professional designation in merchandise product development, and, the most exciting news I'm getting MARRIED! See, I've had some good reason, but not anymore. New blogging shall commence during these days of great change and a new stage of my life as I become a BIG KID.

I'm back from my very extended holiday. So what's new?
Well, Felt Club was amazing! We had a really good turn out and I totally can't wait until next year. I know many of you were able to come out and see/shop :-) Thanks!

PaperNstitch has just opened their new exhibition shop full of great artists and loverly ink is one of them. Starting this month, each month they will feature at least 50 new artists in their exhibition where you can view everyone's items and even shop *gasp* so cool. Guess what!?

This year, loverly ink will be a vendor at the all famous and amazing FELT CLUB HOLIDAY craft fair. It's held November 16th, 11am - 7pm, at the shrine auditorium in Los Angeles. yes, I'm back!!!! what's it been, 2 months? yea, sorry about that, but I have a very good excuse: I have been very busy. Working as a camp counselor at ucla with little kiddies, being exhausted from the little kiddies pushing me in the mud, and coming up with some awesome new items. The little ones even helped me here. My camp name was Doodle Bug, which, as you can imagine, ensued many requests for various doodles including monkeys, goofy, and porcupines. So now I have some great arsenal for doodles and creative design. thanks kids! Even though you were terrors at (many) times, I will miss your doodle requests and cute little faces.

Anywho, I'm back from a very workful summer and I have lots of goodies to show you. I'll even be better at the blog thing.

So a couple of weeks ago (yea, I know, it's been awhile), I participated in ucla's 2nd annual resident runway. It's a take on project runway and only dorm residents could participate. It being my last year in the dorms (sweet!), I decided to give it a go. We were given really hideous clothing and had to transform it into something totally awesome. I made a really cute dress, but sadly, did not win :-( (tears). But on the upside, our designs were judged by last season's project runway contestant SWEET P! And yes, she is as sweet as her namesake. She talked all about her experience on project runway and how she got on the show( apparently pushed by friend and fellow project runway-er/winner Jeffrey Sebelia). We were able to snag a quick picture with her before she went on-stage.
